Please read before purchase
The forms in this kit include liability, waiver, and consent language. They are provided as templates for operational purposes only. They are not legal advice. OurITPerson.com is not a law firm. Before you use any of these forms with a real customer, review them against the law of your jurisdiction and, where the form involves liability, waivers, data handling, or consent, have your own lawyer confirm the wording is appropriate for your business.
1. The product
The Computer Repair Shop Intake & Repair Workflow Kit (the “Kit”) is a digital PDF document containing fifteen forms, checklists, and workflow templates intended for use in the operations of a small computer, laptop, or cellphone repair shop. The Kit is sold and licensed by OurITPerson.com of 204—1371 Foster Street, White Rock, British Columbia, Canada V4B 3X5 (“OurITPerson.com”, “we”, “us”).
2. Purchase and delivery
The Kit is sold for a one-time fee of USD $29 (or USD $59 when purchased as a bundle with our Bench Technician Operations & Training Manual). Payment is processed by Stripe. Upon successful payment, you will receive an email containing a secure, time-limited download link for the Kit. The download link is valid for thirty (30) days from purchase.
If the email does not arrive within a few minutes (please check your spam folder), or if the download link does not work, contact us at tom@ouritperson.com and we will resend a fresh link at no charge.
3. License
Upon payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use, print, and adapt the Kit for the day-to-day operation of a single repair shop location that you own or work for. If you operate more than one location, please purchase a separate license per location, or contact us for a multi-location price.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, publish, redistribute, or share the Kit or any substantial portion of it with a third party.
- Present the Kit as your own original work.
- Remove or obscure the OurITPerson.com attribution in the footer of the Kit.
- Post the Kit or any substantial portion of it publicly on the internet.
You may:
- Adapt the wording of the forms for your jurisdiction, shop, or brand.
- Reproduce the forms on your own letterhead for internal counter use.
- Print unlimited copies for your own shop’s day-to-day operations.
- Share individual forms with your own lawyer for review.
4. No legal advice, no warranty
The Kit is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or legal enforceability. Employment law, consumer-protection law, waiver enforceability, data-protection obligations, and liability language vary by province, state, and country.
OurITPerson.com is not a law firm, and nothing in the Kit or on the OurITPerson.com website constitutes legal advice. Your use of any form in the Kit is at your own risk. It is your responsibility to have the sensitive forms — in particular the Password / Access Authorization & Liability Waiver (Form 3), the Data-Backup Consent Form (Form 4), and the Liquid Damage Acknowledgement inside Form 11 — reviewed by your own lawyer before you use them with customers.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither OurITPerson.com nor its author, employees, or contractors shall be liable for any loss, damage, dispute, claim, expense, or lost profits arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Kit — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise. In the event that any liability is nevertheless established, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Kit.
6. No refunds after download
Because the Kit is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase, we do not offer refunds after the download link has been used. Please review the sample pages linked from the sales page before you buy.
If the download does not work, or the file is unreadable, contact us at tom@ouritperson.com and we will make it right at no charge.
7. Copyright
© 2026 OurITPerson.com. All rights reserved. The Kit, including its layout, structure, wording, and design, is protected by copyright. Your license under Section 3 above does not transfer ownership of the copyright to you.
8. Privacy
To deliver the Kit and support you, we store: your email address, the Stripe payment record, the date of purchase, and a purchase identifier. We do not share this information with third parties except (a) Stripe, who processes the payment, and (b) our email service provider, who delivers the download link. We retain purchase records for up to seven (7) years to comply with our tax and dispute-management obligations. To request deletion of your record after the retention window has expired, email tom@ouritperson.com.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the Kit or these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise for consumers resident outside of Canada.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time. If you purchased the Kit under an earlier version, the version that was in force at the time of your purchase continues to apply to your purchase.
